Are you licensed and insured?

Yes! Higgs Moving Service is fully licensed and insured. We carry cargo liability and general liability coverage on every move, so your belongings are protected from start to finish.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all of East Texas, including Longview, Tyler, Marshall, Kilgore, Henderson, Carthage, Nacogdoches, Lufkin, Palestine, Jacksonville, and many surrounding communities. Not sure if we cover your area? Give us a call!

Do you provide packing materials and supplies?

We bring moving blankets, furniture pads, and straps on every job. If you need boxes or full packing service, just let us know when you request your quote and we'll be happy to discuss your options.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for weekend moves. That said, we offer same-day and next-day service based on availability — just give us a call and we'll do our best.

How is my move priced?

Pricing is based on the size of your move, distance, and any special items or services needed. We offer free, no-obligation estimates — there are no hidden fees or surprise charges.

Do you move specialty or fragile items?

Absolutely. We have experience moving pianos, antiques, artwork, large furniture, and other fragile items. Just mention them when requesting your quote so we can plan accordingly.

What if something gets damaged during the move?

While we take every precaution to handle your items with care, accidents can happen. We are fully insured and will work with you promptly to address any damage claims.

Can I just hire you to load or unload my rental truck?

Yes! Our labor-only loading and unloading service is perfect if you already have a truck or storage unit. You handle the transportation — we handle the heavy lifting.

Do you offer same-day moves?

We do our best to accommodate last-minute and same-day requests based on crew availability. Call us directly for the fastest response.

Do you move items within the same home?

Yes! Need furniture rearranged or moved from room to room? We offer in-home moving services as well.
